EnviroFeeds proudly sponsored the 3rd Annual Forney Family FFA Livestock Show in Texas to help raise money for the Forney FFA. The stockshow was held November 20-21, 2021 where youth showed pigs, sheep, goats, market steers, breeding heifers, and longhorns.
While the main purpose of this stockshow was to raise money for the Forney FFA, the goals for the FFA and similar programs run much deeper. Caring for and showing animals prove to be very difficult and time consuming tasks. This exposes kids to importance of accountability of something or someone other than themselves.
The agricultural lessons learned in the barn translate over to everyday life for these young people. It results in better leadership and social skills, competitive etiquette and extensive knowledge for future career paths.
Supporting programs like The National FFA Organization will always be a priority for EnviroFeeds to continue agricultural education for future generations and give kids the tools they need to succeed in a career in this industry.
